Guide To Improving Your Blog Posts

It doesn’t matter whether you’re new to the blogging world or have been typing away for years, improving the way you write your blog posts will generate more interest, allow for more share-ability (is that a word?), and give readers a reason to keep coming back for more

Tip #1 – START WITH A PLAN

First and most importantly, always have a plan before you start writing your blog post. Jot down your thoughts in terms of what topics or sections you want to include, bullet points, or keywords. Here, the option to buy tiktok likes cheap can be also included in your plan if you are just starting with your blog posts. You never know where your mind may take you while writing and you don’t want to leave out important ideas you had before you started!

Tip #2 – USE A READER FRIENDLY FORMAT

Keep readers interested and scrolling to the bottom of your blog post by formatting topics with sub-headings, bold type, or a way to easily indicate the end of one topic and the start of another. This blog is a good example, as I’ve used a heading for each topic, used bold type, and capitalized each heading. This also gives readers with limited time the ability to get the gist of your blog, possibly marking it as a favorite to come back and read later instead of just exiting out of it.

Tip #3 – USE KEYWORDS

The use of keywords in your blog post is two-fold. First, it will help the search engines figure out what your post is about, second, it will keep your blog from becoming filled with “fluff”. Keywords will also make it easier for you to determine the tags of the post, again making it easier for someone to find exactly what they are looking for in the tag cloud.

Tip #4 – USE PICTURES

Let’s face it, word after word after word after the word (you get my point), can become very dull, no matter how interesting your content is. To add interest to your blog post, give readers a relevant picture or two (or 3 or 4 depending on the topic) to keep them interested and on the page longer.

Tip #5 – INCLUDE A CALL TO ACTION

At the end of every blog post, include a call to action like asking a question, providing related articles the reader may like, asking for an opinion, etc. Give the reader some kind of direction as to what to do next, including asking them to share the article if they found it helpful.

Tip #6 – PROVIDE CONTACT INFORMATION

The worst thing you can do is leave a reader without an easy way to find out more about you, where to connect with you, or how to contact you if they have questions. Yes, most blog posts allow for the reader to leave a comment, but in the case of a reader wanting their thoughts to be private instead of public, the comment box just won’t cut it.
